The Downtown Grimsby Façade Improvement Grant Program is intended to provide a financial incentive in the form of a grant to aid in the rehabilitation, restoration, and improvement of commercial, institutional and mixed use buildings within the area identified as the Downtown Grimsby Community Improvement Area.

On April 5th, 2010,  the Council of the Town of Grimsby passed a by-law for the Downtown Community Improvement Plan.
